Abstract

Snowboarding - the world's fastest growing winter sport - has developed from a trend sport to an established winter sport. However, there are only a few relevant biomechanical studies about snowboarding available. The purpose of the present study was to describe forces and moments at the boot sole during snowboarding. The data may be used for the description of the moving technique, for the estimation of the loads on the human body and for the improvement of the boot and binding equipment. Einleitung (gekürzt)
