Abstract des Autors
Ein akzessorischer M. soleus ist ein seltener Befund, welcher sich klinisch als eine Weichteilraumforderung dorsomedial des oberen Sprunggelenkes darstellt. Die überwiegende Anzahl der Patienten ist asymptomatisch. Beschwerden können auftreten und sind häufig mit sportlicher Belastung assoziiert. Das MRT zeigt das charakteristischerweise normale Muskelgewebe in abnormaler Lokalisation und dient zur differentialdiagnostischen Abgrenzung vom pathologischen Befund. Verf.-Referat
Abstract des Autors
An accessory M. soleus is a rare anomaly, which presents itself as a soft-tissue mass dorsomedial of the ankle joint. Most patients are asymptomatic, but some may experience pain associated with sport activity. The MRI is the diagnostic tool of choice showing normal muscle tissue in abnormal location and allowing differential diagnosis. Verf.-Referat
