Abstract

Um das praktische Schnellangriff-Verhalten in der Basketball-Bundesliga detailliert zu analysieren und mit Ergebnissen von Trainerbefragungen vergleichen zu können, wurden 30 Spiele der Saison 2004/05 bezüglich der Einleitung, des Ballvortrags und des Wurfabschlusses unter teilweiser Berücksichtigung des Verteidigungsverhaltens analysiert. Die Ergebnisse dokumentieren, dass eine sehr intensive, auch mit Foulrisiko agierende Verteidigung im Vergleich zu früheren Untersuchungen den Schnellangriff in seiner den Erfolg mitbestimmenden Rolle gemindert hat. Abstract

In order to examine the fast attack behaviour in the Federal Basketball League in a detailed way and to compare the results of this examination with the results of coach interwiews, 30 matches of the 2004/05 season were analysed with regard to the introduction, the playing of the ball into the opponent's half-court, and the shot to the basket. In this context, the defenders' behaviour was also considered to some extent. Unlike the results of previous studies, the results of this study show that a very intensively acting defence, that even takes the risk of committing fouls, has diminished the success-determining role of the fast attack.
