Abstract
Waterpolo is an immeasurable sports discipline and a complex one as far as coordination is considered. The specificity of movements in water environment requires a high level of general fitness and a specific manifestation of coordination abilities other than on land. Diversification of strength value ("strength accuracy") is one of the important coordination abilities. It relies on the possibility of segmenting the value of strength and its differentiation, i.e. diversification. General fitness parameters (strength) and coordination abilities (diversification and kinetic accuracy) are manifested through strength accuracy. The higher the level of strength accuracy manifestation, being an element of the "feeling of water", the higher the level of adaptation to water environment. Literature on the kinetic abilities in waterpolo players is not rich. Most publications concern the level of general fitness abilities and the technical and tactical preparation. Publications on the level of coordination abilities and its diversification were not found in this literature. Therefore, the aim of the study was to determine the level of selected coordination abilities in waterpolo players in different training periods. Einleitung
