Abstract
Verf.-Referat
Abstract
Tests and test standards, not without controversies, has been a discussion theme in sport circles for a long time. A motor module carried out in the frame of the Children and Youth Health Survey, as reported in this article, is expected to contribute to an objective discussion in not only defining standard values but also norms for sport tests in the future. The MoMo test system comprises of 11 test questions carried out in a representative sample of children aged 4-17 years in Germany. As emphasised by the authors, a discussion process regarding test standards and norms is supposed to include sport and education policy stakeholders as well as the Germany Council of Sport Science (DVS).
