Abstract
Abstract
Given the current situation of the declining performances in the Olympic core sports, reserves of performance for competitive sports actions are discussed in this article. Against this background, a change of the self-concept of coaches, from the expert image to the image of man or woman of action, is recommended. In this concept, the charisma concept is introduced. Starting grom the typical qualities of charismatic people, selection and qualification characteristics for coaches and comparable persons are outlined. The central components of the charisma concept are self-confidence, the will be creative, and social competence. Verf.-Referat
