Abstract

Dieser Beitrag versucht, technische Errungenschaften, die im Sport Verwendung finden, philosophisch zu durchdringen. Hierfür wird aus dem allgemeinen Menschenbild homo technologicus, das Fragen nach dem Weg des Menschen in die technische Zivilisation beantwortet, ein im Wirklichkeitsbereich des Sports verankertes Bild homo technologicus sportivus entwickelt. Dieses gründet sich auf der Annahme, dass sportliches Handeln immer auch technisches Handeln ist und wird in den vier Dimensionen „Sport und Elektronik“, „Mensch als Apparat“, „Mensch plus Apparat“ und „Technisches Werk im Sport“ näher bestimmt. Schließlich zeigt sich, dass der faustische Erfindertraum, das Unmögliche zu erreichen sowie materielle und ideelle Grenzen zu überschreiten, gerade im Bereich des Sports verwirklicht werden kann. Abstract

This article is an attempt at the philosophical exploration of technological achievements which are used in sports. To this end, an image of homo technologicus sportivus, which is embedded in the reality of sports, is developed from the general image of man, homo technologicus, which answers questions regarding man’s way to technological civilization. The image of homo technologicus sportivus is based on the assumption that sports actions are always technological actions and is shown in a more detailed way using the four dimensions of “sport and electronics”, “man as apparatus”, “man plus apparatus” and “technological work in sports”. Finally, it turns out that the Faustian dream of the inventor to achieve the impossible as well as to go beyond material and ideal limits can be realized especially in the area of sports.
