Abstract
The guidelines of the Heidelberg ball playing concept are: facilitating talents, offering sport for all children and mainstreaming through sport. The children acquire tactical, coordinative and technical competencies general to ball games, which make the introduction of specific games easier. The authors discuss using a modified concept of playing ball in a therapeutic program for hyperactive children. The initial results demonstrate the program´s positive influence on the psycho-social and motoric development of the children. Verf.-Referat
