Triathlon als Non-Stop-Ausdauersportart mit den Teildisziplinen Schwimmen, Radfahren und Laufen trainiert umfangreich die Muskulatur, den Stoffwechsel und das Herz-Kreislauf-System. Die häufigsten Verletzungen entstehen am Haut-, Muskel- und Sehnenapparat. Im Hochleistungssport wird bis zu 1.600 Trainingsstunden belastet. Trotzdem ist die Verletzungshäufigkeit pro Jahr mit 0,54 gering. Bei 62 % der Verletzungen resultieren keine weiteren Konsequenzen. Verf.-Referat
Abstract des Autors
Triathlon as a non stop sports with the disciplines swimming, biking and running extensively trains muscles, metabolism, heart and circulation. Most injuries arise at skin, muscles and tendons. Despite training up to 1,600 hours in the high professional sports, the amount of injuries is low with a rate of 0.54 p. y. and without serious consequences for 62 % of these injuries. Verf.-Referat
