Abstract
Vor dem Hintergrund der Bewerbung der Stadt Leipzig um die Austragung der Olympischen Spiele 2012 findet das Thema "Olympische Erziehung in der Schule" zunehmend Eingang in aktuelle Diskussionen der Sportpädagogen. Welche Bedeutung die Bewerbung für sächsische Schulsportlehrer hat und inwieweit sie sich mit einer Olympischen Erziehung identifizieren können, darüber soll der Artikel Aufschluss geben. Eine Analyse dieser Aspekte erfolgte im Rahmen einer empirischen Untersuchung zum Schulsport in Sachsen im Auftrag des Sächsischen Staatsministeriums für Kultus. Verf.-Referat
Abstract
The topic of "Olympic Education in Schools" gains interest in current discussions among physical educators based on the context of Leipzig´s application to host the 2012 Olympic Games. The authors try to elaborate the meaning of the application and the level of identivication with the Olympic education for Saxony´s physical education teachers. The analysis of these aspects was part of an empirical study on physical education on behalf of Saxony´s state secretary for cultural affairs. -Verf.-Referat-
