Es wurden bei 22 Patienten mit 30 Defekten eine arthroskopische Mikrofraktuierung durchgeführt. Mittels zweier unabhängiger klinischer Scores (Mod. Cincinnati-Score, ICRS-Score) wurden die Patienten 12 Monate postoperativ retrospektiv evaluiert. Die durchschnittliche Defektgröße betrug 2,6±1,9 cm², das Durchschnittsalter 44,3 Jahre. Ätiologisch war die Mehrzahl der Verletzungen auf Sporttraumen zurückzuführen. In beiden Scores war nach 12 Monaten eine signifikante (p<=0,05) Verbesserung (ICRS-Score: 64% normal/nealry normal; Mod. Cincinnati-Score: 82,5% excellent/good) nachweisbar. Die Mikrofrakturierung hat einen festen Stellenwert in der Behandlung kleinerer bis mittlerer Gelenkknorpelschäden und führt zu guten klinischen Ergebnissen. Verf.-Referat

22 patients with 30 defects in the knee were treated with an arthroscopical microfracture procedure. The patients were evaluated retrospectively 12 months after operation with two different clinical scores (ICRS-Score, Mod. Cincinnati-Score). The average defect size was 2.6±1.9 cm² and the mean age was 33.3 years. The majority of the defects results from sports injuries. In the two clinical scores a significant improvement (p<=0.05) after 12 months could be observed (ICRS-Score: 64% normal/nearly normal; Mod. Cincinnati-Score: 82.5% excellent/good).
