Dieser Artikel soll dem Leser einen Überblick über die bildgebenden Verfahren bei Verletzungen und Überlastungsfolgen der Hüftgelenksregion des Sportlers geben. Die MRT hat sowohl bei den meisten periartikulären wie auch artikulären Läsionen die höchste Wertigkeit, sollte jedoch nicht das erste Verfahren in der Stufendiagnostik darstellen. Hier steht die Sonographie bei klinischem Verdacht auf eine Weichteilläsion und das Röntgen bei Verdacht auf eine knöcherne Läsion an erster Stelle. Es werden die typischen Befunde dargestellt. Für jede klinische Verdachtsdiagnose wird ein diagnostisches Vorgehen empfohlen. Verf.-Referat

This article is supposed to give a summery of the available imaging procedures in the diagnosis of strains and injuries to the athletes hip joint. The MRI delivers the most valid information both in periarticular and articular lesions. It should not, however, be the first step of the diagnostic ladder. The ultrasonography would be the best choice if there is clinical evidence of a soft-tissue-lesion and the x-ray if there is clinical evidence of bone-lesions.
