Untersucht wurden 100 Patienten aus 8 deutschen Operationszentren 26 Monate (+/-9,7) nach autologer Knorpelzelltransplantation (ACT). Die Atiologie war in 65% der Fälle traumatisch, wobei die Sportverletzungen die größte Gruppe bildeten. Der Knorpeldefekt hatte im Durchschnitt eine Ausdehnung von 5,3 cm2 (+/- 3,6). In 63,9% war die mediale Femurkondyle betroffen. Diese Patientengruppe konnte die besten postoperativen Ergebnisse erzielen. Das subjektive Aktivitätsniveau aller Patienten stieg im Durchschnitt um 21 Prozentpunkte. Die ACT bringt gute klinische Ergebnisse und ist als Verfahren zu befürworten. Verf.-Referat
Abstract des Autors
This study is a 26 (+/- 9,7) month follow up after autologous chondrocyte transplantation. The etiology of the cartilage lesions was in 65% traumatically from this sportaccidents builded the main group. The cartilage lesion was on average 5,32 (+/- 3,6) cm2 and in 63% located on the medial femoral condyle. As such the medial femoral condyle was the most frequently treated location. These patients also showed the best score results. The subjective level of activity increased by 21 % after ACI. The clinical results of the ACI are good and the procedure is medically acceptable.
