Abstract des Autors

The purpose of the study was to detect more details about individual differences in fitness level and sport adaptation for giving aid in personal training duration and intensity level. We found a solution in defining cell metabolism. We searched comparison among exercise physiology parameters and free radicals and their scavanger enzymes, which play important roles in elimination of free radicals. In endurance activities during so called "vita maxima" exercise test, we examined correlations among relative aerobic capacity, blood-lactate level, heart rate malon-dialdehyde (MDA), and free radical enzyme levels such as catalase (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. Blood samples were taken from arterial capillary of ear-lobe as an easy method for practical considerations. Our results showed MDA auamentation before the intensity of La4. The increase of MDA linearly correlated with the increase of blood lactate. We suppose, the limiting factor in sport performance is the increase of free radicals. It is also recognised that the MDA increase is initiated with CAT activity decrease and during high power output, the decrease in CAT activity is temporarily compensated with the increase in GPX activity. The knowledge of changes in antioxidant enzymes is an aid in proper understanding of aerobic and anaerobic metabolism. The method is suitable in every day practise for measuring athletes performance capacity. Verf.-Referat
