Abstract des Autors
Approximately more than 30% of the injuries the sports physician is confronted with, concerns the knee. Patellofemoral pain syndrome is frequently diagnosed. Also in the practice of the G.P. this syndrome is of frequent occurrence (especially adolescents). Often it is diagnosed as retropatellar chondropathy. The treatment of the patellofemoral pain syndrome pre-eminently fits the sport medical view on the treatment of overuse injuries. Verf.-Referat
