Abstract des Autors
As a physician there is an increasing chance of being confronted during health surveillance with a person with asthma or COPD. In this situation it is not easy to make an assessment of fitness for diving. Is there an increased risk? And do you have the right equipment to assess these illnesses? Is it necessary to conduct additional tests and who will carry out those tests? On the basis of two case histories an attempt is made to stimulate a further standardization of pulmonary tests during the health surveillance of scuba divers. Verf.-Referat
