Abstract des Autors
The outcome of different treatments for knee dislocations has received considerable debate. This article compiles the reported outcomes of surgical treatment of acute knee dislocations with special emphasis on studies published during the past 10 years. The results indicate that stiffness and pain, rather than instability, can pose problems following operative treatment. Return to work and athletic activities are variable but can be accomplished by a significant number of patients. Verf.-Referat
