Abstract des Autors

We evaluated activity of 2 lysosomal hydrolases - aryIsulphatase and acid phosphatase - in blood serum of trained and untrained men before and after an intensive exercise. The study was carried out on 10 untrained men from the control group and 20 trained men training before the World Championship in Duisburg. Sportsmen were kayakers and rowers. They did a supramaximal effort during exercise (Wingate test). Venous blood samples were taken before and 1 hour after the end of the exercise. Blood from sportsmen was taken also 7 days after the exercise. During these 7 days sportsmen were training before the competition. In both groups we observed lysosomal hydrolases activities increase 1 hour after the exercise and in sportsmen we observed further statistically significant increase of acid phosphatase activities also 7 days after the supramaximal effort. Before physical exercise, activities of aryIsulphatase and acid phosphatase in controls were 3.0/10**3 nM/mg of protein/min and 2.9/10**3 nM/mg of protein/min respectively, in sportsmen 2.9/10**3 nM/mg of protein/min and 7.0/10**3 nM/mg of protein/min respectively. After an exercise enzymes activities in controls increased by 63% and 450% and in sportsmen by 34% and 11% respectively. Taking into account enzymes activities of all study periods we found statistically significant correlation between arylsulphatase and acid sulphatase in trained (r=0.475; P<0.001) and untrained men (r=0.587; P<0.01).
