Abstract des Autors

The aim of this study was the measurement of maximum strength and determination of accuracy of movement as well as establishing of relationship between the level of physical and co-ordination abilities of a local and global character in children. Material was collected in a group of 122 girls and 114 boys aged from 10 to 14 years old. Maximum isometric strength was measured by use of a dynamometer in horizontal position (global force) and sitting position (local force). Strength accuracy was measured by use of Schulte-Puni-Starosta method. Strength accuracy at the global task depended on the speed and force rate. Determination coefficients amounted to 56.3% for girls and 78.8% for boys. Results of the regression model reduction for global force confirmed a dominant influence of the maximum strength on strength accuracy in both tested groups. However, for local strength the ability of strength differentiation seems to be less related to speed and to strength rates (determination coefficients within the range from 10 to 15%. Verf.-Referat
