Abstract des Autors
Apophysitis in the extensor system of the knee is usually located in those areas that undergo traction, such as the anterior tibial tuberosity, where it is known as Osgood-Schlatter disease, or in the distal aspect of the patella (Sinding-Larsen-Johansson disease). The appearance of apophysitis in the proximal patella due to repeated traction of the quadriceps tendon is most unusual. Clinical and radiologic findings, however, are similar to those found in the aforementioned diseases. Verf.-Referat
