Abstract des Autors

We report two cases of young athletes with pes anserinus syndrome that resisted treatment. The initial diagnosis was questioned, and an osteoid osteoma was found under the insertion of the pes anserinus close to the tendon of the semi-membranosus. This localization and clinical feature of osteoid osteoma (which is very rare on the medial aspect of the tibia) put into question the problem of the possible effect of the mechanical constraints of the tendon onto bone in the appearance of osteoid osteoma or the onset of pain.
