Abstract des Autors
Meniscal cysts are encapsulated lesions containing synovial fluid. These cysts are thought to result from degeneration and cystic softening of meniscal collagenous connective tissue, with imbibement of synovial fluid into the degenerated tissue. Many cases of meniscal cysts have been reported; however, there are few reports of these cysts with significant clinical findings. In this report, we describe the unusual clinical and MRI manifestations in two cases of atypical meniscal cysts and show correlation to the findings of arthroscopic examination. Verf.-Referat
