Abstract des Autors

The driving length of 54 golfers was measured using standardized tournament observations conducted at two European PGA tournaments, resulting in the following rating options: The drive on its own is very relevant for the overall score, at pro tournaments it accounts for 20% of tee-offs. Professionals are inclined to forgo length in favour of a drive towards the best position. At tournaments, drive lengths have not been found to be consistent. Verf.-Referat
