Abstract des Autors
This study identifies and describes the outcome-oriented effects of ropes course participation on a girls high school tennis team, and explores the process through which these outcomes were achieved. Lewin's change theory is used to explain how some of the athletes reaped greater benefits from the ropes course experience than other athletes, and similarly, were more dedicated and effective in their abilities to transfer the concepts they had learned to the tennis courts and beyond. Implications for practitioners and researchers in both sport psychology and adventure education are discussed. Verf.-Referat
