Abstract des Autors

The study aimed at identifying the kinematic and dynamic variables of the sprinting stride which most affect maximal sprinting velocity of the centre of gravity (CG) on a 5 m distance. The study was conducted on 7 female elite sprinters subjected twice to a laboratory 5 m run with a flying start (40 m approach). A tensometric platform installed in tartan track was used to measure 12 dynamic parameters of their sprinting stride in the maximal velocity zone and a 3D-kinematic APAS system to record 14 kinematic parameters at the frame frequency of 50 Hz. A 15-segment model, defined by 17 reference points, was used in the analysis. Highest correlations with maximal sprinting velocity were found for the following parameters: horizontal velocity of the body in the braking phase (r=0.60), horizontal CG velocity in propulsion phase (r=0.73), duration of contact (r=-0.61), duration of the braking phase (r=-0.67), acceleration in the push-off action propulsion phase (r=0.56) and push-off angle (r=-0.61). Dynamic parameters of the sprinting stride were not correlated sigfnificantly with maximal velocity. It was concluded that the maximal velocity of female sprinters depended mainly on the kinematic parameters and much less on the parameters of the force in the push-off action of the sprinting stride.
