Abstract des Autors

When we think about the treatment of a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament strategically we first of all need to discuss the time of operation. lf the patella tendon is implemented too early, the rate of arthrofibrosis could be increased. Furthermore the scope for movement should be between 0 and 120 degrees, because otherwise preoperative movement limitations will be manifested through the operation. Apparently the situation with regards to termination has become less of an issue through the use of the semitendinosus tendon, because the humorale reaction of the knee joint is obviously more benign and the rate of arthrofibrosis has been reduced substantially. In this expose the advantages of the patella tendon and the semitendinosus tendon within the quadruple technique will be compared as well. Particular emphasis will be attached to the semitendinosus tendon in a technique with two femoral tunnels because surgeons will be for the first time in the position to reconstruct isolatedly the antero-medial and postero-lateral bundle. Rehabilitation will be a special topic because of the theme of the convention. During the first phase of rehabilitation the cure factors with regard to intraarticular traumas and graft harvesting defect are taken into consideration. Later the different stages of rehabilitation will be demonstrated. Through the use of arthroscopic operation techniques the indication for the treatment can be provided nowadays with the aim of reducing the rate of arthrosis with chronically instable knee joints. Furthermore it will take into consideration more efficiently the anatomy of the anterior cruciate ligament. Verf.-Referat
