Abstract des Autors
Ten female volley ball players engaged in highly competitive situations were studied by Holter dynamic electrocardiography (ECGD) for 24 hours so as to check changes induced in cardiac activity by a period of specific training. Mean daily and training heart rate showed a significant reduction between in two ECGDs. Various types of arrythmias were observed; the hyperkinetic forms were more frequent in subjects suffering from mitral valve prolapse. The observation of an episode of supraventricular paroxysmal tachycardia during play in a healthy player was interesting. The usefulness of the technique for the study of heart adaptation to sport and in the evaluation of cardiological suitability to competitive sporting activity is therefore confirmed. Verf.-Referat
