Abstract des Autors
The Chronic Compartment Syndrome of the lower leg is a syndrome of low incidence. Because of the fact that physicians are not sufficiently acquainted with signs and symptoms, diagnosis is missed in some cases. This is illustrated by three cases. An effort related pressure measuring is indicated if suspicion of a compartment syndrome arises. If immediately after measuring an increased pressure is found, a fasciotomy could be considered. Subcutaneous fasciotomy gives good results in most cases. Verf.-Referat
