Abstract des Autors
The authors have assessed the presence of microvascular morphological alterations by means of a periungueal capillaroscopy in a group of 46 male athletes - mean age 21.4+/-4.2 years (range 13-32 years) - playing handball at a competitive level. No capillaroscopic anomalies were found in 10 athletes (22%) while in the other 36 athletes (78%) different kinds of micro-vascular alterations were noticed. However, the architectonic derangement typical of the major microvascular syndromes, was never observed. In the end the authors have suggested some foresights which could contribute to reduce the onset of these lesions. Verf.-Referat
