Abstract des Autors
As arthroscopic techniques and equipment improved over time, arthroscopic meniscus repair techniques were developed. Reports in the literature suggest that single longitudinal tears in the peripheral one third of the meniscus can be repaired arthroscopically with predictable results. Complex tear patterns, such as double longitudinal, radial, or flap tears, once were thought to be unsuitable for repair. This article presents the authors' guidelines and technical considerations to be followed when attempting arthroscopic repair of complex meniscus tears. Verf.-Referat
