Abstract

The author studied a new physiotherapeutic instrument called Magmaterapia. This instrument permitted deambulation with load reduction on rachis. The patient is induced to create a new motor scheme with load redistribution, more uniform, that reduced the muscle contracture. 35 patients were tested, ranged between 17 and 45 yrs (mean age = 31). Rx examination showed a scoliosis attitude and referred pain at different levels of the rachis. Some of them referred also sciatical pain. The results obtained by BPE examination, after Magmaterapia treatment showed, in about 90% of the patients, a normalization on the plantar load either in static or dynamic mode. Moreover, all the patients reported decrease - after first treatment - until the extinction - after the 5th treatment of the pain. Finally, the posturographic exam showed improvement of the centre of gravity and decrease of the oscillation. Verf.-Referat
