Abstract des Autors

Tibial periostitis, stress fracture of the tibia and fibula, and posterior tibialis tendinitis occur in basketball players at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. In ous experience, a tibiofibular synostosis can cause shin splint-like pain as well as ankle pain. The purpose of this paper is to present two cases of stress fractures of the tibia in professional basketball players, resulting in callus formation of the interosseous space. Verf.-Referat
