Abstract des Autors
A previous report concluded that an intact flexor hallucis longus (FHL) tendon is not essential for good push-off and balance in running sports. In the case described here, serious athletic disability resulted from an FHL tendon rupture and prompted consideration of surgical exploration. Verf.-Referat
