Abstract des Autors

A review is given of 43 questionnaires which (try to) measure leisure time physical activity. It is striking that a lot of these questionnaires are very much alike or are based upon each other. A distinction was made between questionnaires measuring energy expenditure and questionnaires measuring mechanical load. Only 2 questionnaires appeared to be specifically developed to measure mechanical load. 19 selected short questionnaires were further investigated to search for studies that measure reliability and validity. Only few studies were found that measure reliability and validity of the selected questionnaires. Based upon the available studies the authors conclude that it is not possible to judge the reliability and validity of the selected questionnaires. Verf.-Referat
