Abstract des Autors
Tennis players may develop low back injury because of the large, repetitive momentum in axial rotation, coupled with hyperextension generated during play. Scant biomechanical and clinical data are available regarding low back injury in tennis players. This article discusses epidemiologic, biomechanical, functional, diagnostic, and management considerations of low back injury in competitive tennis players. Guidelines for future research are proposed. Verf.-Referat
