Abstract des Autors
With the advancement of arthroscopic techniques during the past decade, newer minimally invasive procedures for shoulder stabilization have been introduced. Even in the hands of experienced arthroscopists, unacceptably high recurrence rates for arthroscopic shoulder stabilization have been reported. In our experience, however, this is an effective and efficacious technique provided that patients are selected carefully and that meticulous technique is used. Failure to exclude patients with significant concomitant capsular laxity and inadequate technique are the principal reasons for failure of the arthroscopic approach. Verf.-Referat
