Abstract des Autors
CNSLD-patients can be limited in their exercise capacity. Before a training program is started an adequate diagnosis should be made in order to trace the reason of their limited exercise tolerance. Exercise testing usually demonstrates the causes of their limited exercise tolerance. The intensity of the training program, together with the necessity of training with additional oxygen, can be based on the outcome of the exercise test. This is illustrated by some cases. Previously the interpretation of the results of exercise tests is discussed. The general review is dedicated to some pathophysiological backgrounds. Verf.-Referat
