Turf toe injuries have been found to have significant short term and potential long term morbidity. These injuries can result in significant functional disability. This article reviews the anatomy and biomechanics, causative factors, mechanism of injury, evaluation, and treatment options for this increasingly recognized injury. Verf.-Referat
