Surgical reconstruction of the posterior cruciate ligament, although a techically demanding procedure, can restore objective knee stability when correctly performed. Various factors, including tunnel placement, graft selection and fixation, postoperative rehabilitation, and most importantly surgical experience can reliably predict success.
