Healthy, active adults are often overlooked when it comes to simple disease-prevention practices like vaccination. Yet when compared to inactive adults, some recreational athletes face a higher risk of exposure to diseases, such as hepatitis B, tetanus, and influenza, often without realizing it. Physicians need to identify patients at risk and help them understand that "getting your shots" can be as important on the court as it is off. Verf.-Referat
