Abstract des Autors
Based on their own material, authors review the special points of arthroscopy in children and adolescents. Within the period of 41 months, 89 knee arthroscopies were performed in patients ranging from 5 to 18 years. In 19 cases, arthroscopy was followed by arthrotomy, while in 21 cases surgical procedure did not follow arthroscopy. In 49 out of 89 cases arthroscopic operations were performed. Based on the detailed analysis of the latest group, it was concluded, that arthroscopy is an excellent method in paediatric orthopaedics. Verf.-Referat
