Abstract des Autors

The relationship between a certain performance and its costs can permit an estimation of the still existent performance reserves. In 101 cyclists between 16 and 18 years the reserves or the aerobic capacity were estimated using speed independent bicycle ergometry. For the evaluation of the reserves of the general aerobic capacity the relationship between the size of max. 02-pulse and the heart volume was analysed. For the prognosis of the local aerobic capacity the relationship between the max. O2-uptake and its value corresponding to the anaerobic threshold was studied. The reserves of the anaerobic capacity were estimated in 45 cyclists between 16 and 18 years using speed dependent bicycle ergometry. For the motorial prognosis, the relationship between predominant strength and speed characteristics of the subjects were studied. For estimation of the alactacid and lactacic energy reserves the relationship between the total work performed and the lactate production in 15 s and 45 s all-out tests were analysed. Four types of the relationship between performance and costs, with different importance for the reserves of the general and local aerobic capacity, the maximal anaerobic power and the anaerobic endurance could be described. The later sports career of the subjects confirms the availability of the type classification concerning the aerobic capacity. Verf.-Referat
