Abstract des Autors
The purpose of the performed experiments was to compare a general and 2 sport specific endurance tests and their informative character when evaluating road racing cyclists. We investigated 20 probands in: 1. Spiroergometry (1 W/kg), 2. air resistance simulating hometrainer roller, 3. field test hill climbing. At comparable stress stages and in the recovery phase, the blood pressure values were clearly lower during sport specific investigation, lactate was measured lower in test 2. On the other hand the cardiorespiratory performance data were identical for all tests. The application of the time-consuming sport specific racing bike test has to be recommended for all performance categories of road racing sports, for classificaiton and training advise. Verf.-Referat
