Abstract des Autors
To assess the usefulness of the Conconi Test in the control of training intensity, exhausting step tests were conducted on a cycle ergometer (CE) and on a 300 m track (FT). CE was performend by 12 young tennis players, FT by 15 young runners. In CE, only 1 in 12 heart rate curves permitted a Conconi analysis. In FT 11 in 15 curves showed a heart rate deflection. The running speed at the Conconi breaking point was of little significance to the individual anaerobic threshold (r = 0.73) and the 4 mmol/l lactate threshold (r = 0.73). In view of the limited number of useful curves, and their subject dependent variability, the Conconi Test does not allow sufficiently precise control of individual training intensity. Verf.-Referat
