Abstract des Autors
We analyzed the repercussions of training of a preseason period in 34 cross-country skiers, using the basal catecholamine excretion in urine collected in the morning as a parameter. With increasing training stress during the preseason training period, there is an increase in the basal catecholamine excretion rate, which is increased for noradrenaline by a factor of 5. Increases several times the norm indicate an unfavorable sympathotonic overtraining, which is confirmed by a decrease in endurance capacity (VO2) in incremental treadmill ergometer testing.
