Abstract des Autors
In arthroscopy local anesthesia is better indicated in diagnostic phase; in arthroscopic surgery it is used in the presence of simple lesions and with non-anxious patients. Patients's requests must not compromise the good result of the test or of the surgery. In the athlete, in particular, local anesthesia is indicated in diagnostic arthroscopy. General pharmacological assistence, by improving relaxation and articular distension, contributes to the success of a test in local anesthesia. The authors analyze the indications, the limitation and the risk of local anesthesia. Verf.-Referat
