Abstract
Nontraumatic pain syndromes involving the seat area are frequent in both amateur and elite bicyclists. The most common syndromes involve the skin; these include various types of saddle sores and subcutaneous nodules. Less common syndromes include ischemic and compression injuries to the pudendal nerve, and urologic problems such as urethritis, prostatitiis, hematuria, and testicular torsion. Verf.-Referat
