Abstract
The present study aimed at ascertaining personality chracteristics of Indian table-tennis, badminton and football players using the 16 PF questionnaire. The sample consisted of 30 table-tennis, 30 badminton and 30 football players of Bihar of the age group 19-24 years. The football team appeared to have possessed A+, B-, H+, I-, O+, Q1+ and Q2-. The table-tennis and the badminton teams appeared to have shown almost similar characteristics except on a few factors viz., Factors B, I and O of the questionnaire. Verifications of the findings on a large sample preferably in the cross-cultural context have been suggested. Verf.-Referat
