Abstract

Differences between augmenters and reducers when performing a gross motor coincidence-anticipation task is investigated. The analysis of the constant error score indicated that augmenters and reducers do not show any main effect according to the perceptual style (p .05), while the speed and distance main effects were significant (p .05). Subjects were more able to coincide more accurately with an object moving at a slow speed and when they were required to move the short distance. The variable error analysis, however, did not reveal any significant differences. Verf.-Referat
