Abstract
This study examined how the components of the Spanish version of the Competitive State Anxiety Inventory (CSAI-2) are related to each other and their relationships with performance in 51 male soccer players from four professional teams. The results indicated moderate relationship between cognitive worry and somatic anxiety, confirming that these are separate, but related components of state anxiety. Also, cognitive worry was the more consistentyl and inversely related to performance. Finally, alpha coefficients of this Spanish version that it is an internal reliable measure. Verf.-Referat
